Q. Can we order additional bottles of wine?
A. Yes, you can order additional wines to be served during your meal.

 

Q. Can we bring in our own drinks or do you charge corkage?
A. We are fully licensed and provide all your drink requirements for you during your stay. You can pre-order your preferred drinks for the Hen House and Gentlemen’s Bar ahead of your big day.

 

Q. Are your menu packages flexible?
A. Yes. Our menus are not set in stone and we regularly adapt our menus to reflect modern food trends and use locally sourced seasonal foods. We are happy to discuss a bespoke menu with you if you prefer. we enjoy working with couples to provide the perfect menu.

 

Q. Do you allow outside caterers?
A. As we are extremely passionate about food here at Lemore Estate, we have our own in-house team who will ensure that standards remain high. 

 

Q. Is it possible to choose various dishes from the menus?
A. We recommend that you choose one starter, one main course and one dessert from your chosen menu. If you would like to mix and match our menus, please note that the higher tariff will apply.

 

Q. Can you cater for guests who are vegetarian and have food allergies?
A. Yes, we have a wide selection of menus to suit all dietary needs and take pride in ensuring these menus are exciting and tasty!

 

Q. Do you have food options available for children?
A. We have included a delicious and healthy selection of children’s food. We suggest that if a child is under two years old you arrange for the parents to bring something suitable for them. If they are aged between two and ten, we charge £45 for a three-course meal. Guests aged eleven or over are charged at the full adult package price. Soft drinks will be available throughout.

 

Q. Should we provide our contractors with a meal?
A. We recommend that you provide any of your contractors with a meal if they will be spending more than five hours at your wedding. We have two options available; we can provide either a hot meal or a packed lunch. It is a good idea to let your contractors know what to expect.

 

Q. How many people shall I cater for my evening reception? 
A. From previous experiences, we strongly recommend that you cater for all your guests. Late-night street foods are usually served at least 3 hours after the wedding breakfast. Evening foods are always welcomed after a busy night of entertainment!

 

Q. Do you have a cake stand and knife?
A. We can provide a cake knife but the cake stand will need to be provided by you or your cake maker.

 

Q. Do you have high chairs?
A. Yes, we have 2 high chairs and you are welcome to bring your own. 

 

Q. Is there a car park?
A. There is a large car park providing ample spaces for guests. Cars may be left overnight, at the owner’s risk and collected the next morning by 10.00 am. Coaches can drop off and collect guests; please confirm the drop-off and collection points with the Events Team.

 

Q. Is there heating in the property?
A. We have ample heating at the property with our newly installed Biomass Woodchip Boiler- ‘Puffin Billy’ and ample hot water. 

 

Q. Does Lemore Estate have Disabled Access?
A. Yes, we have a portable wheelchair ramp and a disabled ground floor toilet. There is lift access to all floors including the Lower Ground Floor, for the Games room and Gentlemen’s Lounge.

 

Q. Where can guests leave their coats?
A. Coats can be taken down to the Lower Ground Floor where we have coat rails available.

 

Q. Is there access to the front of the house for a wedding car?
A. Yes, with great photo opportunities.

 

Q. What photographic locations are available?
A. Many…11 acres of open gardens, the bandstand, a small stone bridge, the Lemore fountain, meadows, two iconic doors and many more!

Q. Music during the ceremony?
A. You can book musicians and singers to play during your ceremony. There is a power socket at the bandstand, to allow you to play pre-recorded music through a mini sound system of your choice. We can recommend a local supplier for PA and sound equipment if preferred. The Coach House is equipped with its’ own PA system.

 

Q. Can we choose a location for our ceremony?
A. Yes, we have 3 different locations available to you at Lemore Estate, depending on the number of guests.

 

Q. What happens if the weather is unfortunate?
A. We recommend our beautiful Coach House Ceremony Hall, which is accessed by the Glazed Link.

 

Q. What type of chairs are provided for the ceremony?
A. We provide our own elegant white painted wooden chairs, which you are welcome to decorate if you wish. Alternatively, we can provide quotations for different chairs/benches if required.

 

Q. Is confetti allowed?
A. Natural, organic or biodegradable confetti e.g. dried flower petals, are permitted.

 

Q. Are tables and chairs/table linens and crockery included in the menu prices?
A. Yes, white linens, furniture, crockery, cutlery and glassware are all included. 

 

Q. Are Chinese lanterns allowed?
A. Unfortunately not because of the harm they can cause to nearby livestock.

 

Q. Are fireworks allowed?
A. Out of consideration for livestock, professional fireworks are permitted on 5th November and 31st December only.
